I believe a strong support system is the foundation for a stable life. My career has been shaped by a mix of direct patient care and client support.

During my time as a Patient Care Technician on a hospital trauma unit, the gaps in our community's safety net became impossible to ignore. We treated seniors for accidental falls, only to find painful conditions they had ignored for far too long because they lacked resources. I saw that same struggle when helping stressed clients resolve complex financial disputes. It became clear that navigating the system to find help is often just as difficult as the struggles themselves.

I didn't want to just wait for people to hit a crisis point in the ER before they got help. I wanted to build a bridge that gets them to the right resources much faster.

That realization completely shifted my focus. I decided to pivot toward education and community outreach because I see it as the best way to build long term stability for people.

Right now, I am completing my Bachelor of Applied Science in Management at Dallas College and I expect to graduate in August 2027. My main focus is on using my technical and leadership skills to build systems that actually work for our community. My goal is to be a reliable resource for student success programs and local families, making sure everyone has the tools they need to succeed.

Leading a team in a fast-paced call center taught me how to manage complex account disputes. I know how to listen, calm a situation down, and find fair solutions while keeping sensitive data secure.
